Hardware
Our
systems are designed to use both Intel and UNIX-based platforms. Both
low-end and high-end servers can be configured for your specific requirements.
For
image storage and retrieval purposes, we utilize jukebox, hard disk,
CD-ROM, and other technology from leaders like Hewlett Packard, Sony,
Phillips and Microdesign.
For
scanner input, we utilize Fujitsu, Hewlett Packard and TDC for document
induction. For microfilm and microfiche scanning, we use Mekel.
For
viewing monitors, we utilize ViewSonic, NEC and Cornerstone high resolution,
full page monitors for ease and clarity of document viewing.
Software
The
true beauty of CCSI/IMAGEIN™ imaging solutions are that
they take advantage of the highly popular, easy-to-use Microsoft Windows
and MOTIF GUI-driven "front end operating environment". In
this regard, the technically oriented operating system can, for the
most part, remain transparent to the average end-user.
Undoubtedly
the single most exciting characteristic of your imaging system will
be the CCSI suite of imaging products. They are painstakingly designed
for maximum customization flexibility. They are object-oriented and
engineered to be both database and architecture independent. This allows
for easy and complete integration with most any existing hardware and
software products you may currently be utilizing. Most important, this
enables us to specifically tailor the software to meet most any image
and document input and retrieval requirements. It also allows you to
grow your imaging system at your own pace.
Modularized
Software Solutions
CAPTURE: a networked document conversion solution for
record and workflow management providing high performance scanning,
indexing, QC, and output to optical media or tape.
RETRIEVE: a networked archival "search and retrieve"
solution that supports optical jukeboxes, fax servers on a variety of
PC and UNIX workstations.
COLD: short for Computer Output To Laser Disk, COLD
allows for the downloading, automatic indexing and data storage on optical
disk media. This methodology provides the fastest way to retrieve, display
and distribute data electronically, versus traditional methods such
as printouts, microfilm or magnetic tape.
